God is all over it! The Bible tells us that He is Love. Without Him, we don’t have love. The union between Christ and us is a marriage. He is our bridegroom. He loves us unconditionally. He teaches us that we are to Love others as we would want to be loved. And to love as He loves us.

He loves us so much that he sent us Christ to save us. We need a savior. Without Him we are but dust. With Him, we are precious. Like all things that he made that are valuable and beautiful, we are in the refining process. He knows we are prone to wander. He knows we are sinful. After all, we are like tarnished silver, we need to be polished. Like diamonds, he’s cutting us into something sparkling and shiny.

So allow Him to polish you today. Allow Him to make the necessary cuts to bring out the best in you. Take joy in the process.
